After a bright, hot and beautiful summer, lately in Belgium, it has been a bit dark, dreary and rainy! In lieu of this cold weather I thought I would whip up one of my favourite soups! Pumpkin soup is soo good for you, filling and flavourful! It is the perfect pick me up in the…
I get asked a lot what I eat. People usually ask me this after finding out that I am a vegetarian (and that I eat a vegan, plant-based diet 98.5% of the time). I think people are just naturally curious and I totally understand why. I’ll never forget the first time I met a vegan…
How was your Fall weekend? It is seriously cooling down there too? I heard it snowed in Toronto last weekend and it’s really starting to get chilly here as well (*though, last year it didn’t snow at all in Belgium – a big stretch from my -30 blizzard-filled winters during my undergrad in Ottawa!). And look…
I have been a bit off the blogging radar for the past couple weeks because I have been literally travelling nonstop. For the past couple weeks I have had the pleasure of showing my boyfriend and his wonderful family a small fragment of this beautiful country of Canada. We rented a big American SUV (the kind you…
As many of you know I am not a pro-runner or pro-athelete by any means. Let’s be honest, when I was a kid, I usually was the last one chosen in gym class and up until a few years ago the idea of me running seemed like a totally unreachable and unreasonable goal. When people talked about “running”…
Confession time. Over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed some of my clothing fitting a little more snug than usual and have also noticed myself slipping into old habits of mindless snacking. You know what I mean. As in you are working on a paper or doing something around the house and all of the…
I love the blog Ceara and am always looking for new recipes. I have to try your mac and cheese because I love the comfort foods. I’m down 86 pounds yay, but I only use the treadmill. I am going to start that 21-day yoga program and see where that takes me. Such a difference making life-style changes as opposed to dieting. I cannot believe how much better I feel! I am a fan of spelt and quinoia (can never spell that right lol) so it is nice to see a recipe using spelt!
So great to here from you Auntie Nan!! 86 pounds !!!!!! WOW! That must feel amazing! I am so happy for you 🙂 The treadmill is great – I started using the one at the school gym as it gets colder! Let me know how it goes with the 21 day yoga program 😀 I saw so many changes in myself during the program! I would love to swap healthy recipes if you have any ones you adore! xxoo
Love it! (: Can’t wait to discover food on your journey!! 🙂
Thank you so much Stefaan! We need to make your delicious pad thai again!!! 🙂
