Exciting News! *Eat Happy, Live Happy!* #WIAW

Today is an exciting day here at Ceara’s Kitchen!

I started this blog over a year ago as a way to share some of my favorite feel-good eats reinvented into healthy *but equally as good ways*. As many of you know, I also started this blog to help me heal from my past of disordered eating – as a positive celebration of food and all the joy it can bring to life. And there will still be lots of comforting eats to be had and shared over here at Ceara’s Kitchen but after some thought and reflection I’ve changed the mantra of this website from “Feel good, healthy eats” to “Eat Happy, Live Happy”.

Eat Happy, Live Happy

What is “Eat Happy, Live Happy?”

It’s living a happy life where food is enjoyed, celebrated and shared.

It’s living in world where food is seen in a positive light.

It’s living in a world where eating as little or as much as possible is not seen as some achievable goal.

And eating a substantial breakfast is a must 😉

Breakfast
My morning green tea and lemon water, followed by a bowl of oats topped off with almond milk and chia seeds, and a big “Purple Creamsicle” smoothie made with clementines, strawberries and raspberries!

It’s living in a world where some of my closest friends growing up would not have had eating disorders.

It’s living a life where food is enjoyed free of guilt.

And you get to make your favorite creamy pasta and eat it too.

Lunch
Some Creamy Cauliflower Alfredo Pasta (my new fav – recipe to come!) made with Kamut Rigatoni and a bowl of Belgian Pumpkin Soup

It’s living in a world where having a piece of chocolate is savored.

And living a life filled with nutritious eats that are dayuuum tasty.

Snacks while working away
Snacks while working away: A banana, some pecans and a new recipe coming soon – *Pumpkin Banana Bars*

It’s living in a world where food is seen as fuel, nourishment, love and comfort.

It’s about eating your veggies and greens.

Dinner
Post run dinner – a baked sweet potato topped off with pumpkin seeds alongside two roasted zucchinis and mushrooms topped off with some Herbes de Provence and Frank’s Hot Sauce.

But also enjoying that piece of cake once in a while too.

Pumpkin BArs
Evening Snack – a couple more of these Pumpkin Banana Bars just because 😉

It’s eating happy.

It’s living happy.

It’s..

  1. I recently tried CBD gummies from this website https://www.cornbreadhemp.com/collections/cbd-cream as a replacement for the first time and was pleasantly surprised next to the results. Initially skeptical, I create that it significantly helped with my appetite and slumber issues without any noticeable side effects. The grease was serene to speak, with definite dosage instructions. It had a merciful, vulgar liking that was not unpleasant. Within a week, I noticed a marked increase in my total well-being, instinct more languorous and rested. I cognizant the natural approach to wellness CBD offers and plan to continue using it.

  4. Very nice slogan Ceara! and 100% agree with whatever you have written…moderation is key…that’s what I have always believed in. The fruits and veggie part is easy for me since I’m a vegetarian so that’s all I eat 🙂

    1. Thanks, Manali! I know – the fruits and veggies are a lot easier to fill in since I’ve become vegetarian as well 😉

  5. Eat Happy, Live Happy just sums it all up perfectly! Love it. Totally agree with everything you said, especially about eating a great breakfast and getting in all those fruits and veggies…….and of course the occasional splurge. Everything in moderation. And don’t you think you enjoy the splurge more too when it is occasional and not like, every day or several times a day? Chocolate tastes to much better once a week, not 10 times a day.

  6. I love your new slogan, Ceara! It definitely fits you and your blog. And congratulations on blogging for a year!
