Unplugged for exams!

The past couple weeks have been CRAY-ZAY as I fiercely write the last few essays of my semester. As many of you know, I’m a Master’s student in Belgium studying Anthropology and the end of my year is quickly approaching. I am trying my best to make these last few weeks of my academic year count (well, school wise that is!). I am going to be unplugged for the next week so I can concentrate on the thousands of words I still need to write.

My life for the past couple weeks has consisted of research, studying, writing and then some more writing with some running and yoga in between to keep me sane. The hardest part about studying all day long is a) being stuck to a chair all day long and b) keeping myself out of the kitchen. I must not be the only one who love to procrastinate with baking (Procrasti-BAKE!) ? One minute I am writing an essay and the next there is banana bread baking in the oven. I have gotten a bit better and am relying on the banana bread and goodies portioned out in my freezer as well as lots and lots (and lots) of smoothies and nut butters.
I am going to be honest, I am looking forward to finishing this year up so I can get my baking back on and also because I am going home to Canada at the end of June (woohoo!) 😀

Sending lots of love from my Kitchen to yours (even though there is not too much action happening in mine right now!). Wishing you a wonderful week!

  1. Yaaay!! Me too!! The last exam/essay results in a humongous SIGH OF SHEER RELIEF. The feeling is incomparable to none! A whole summer ahead, yaaay!! Haha I love the banana bread! I basically got by on peanut butter sandwiches during the final weeks. We are talking like 3-5 a day. It got pretty bad though! I never realized the impact that shop bought bread really had on my body. I’m so psyched that term is over and now I have all the time in the world to blog, bake, photograph, eat and WALK 😀

    1. Thanks Shelley!! 😀 I am halfway there! Looking forward to the summer when I am exam free!! Hope you two are doing great!
